Well, neither of those would match her e-ring since it’s princess cut. You have to get a band with princess-cut stones to match.http://www.bluenile.com/princess-cut-dia…
I personally think it’s too much blind. A plain band would be just lovely.

I prefer the 5 stone.
This is the obsessive compulsive in me…but what is the distance from start to finish of the diamonds on your fiance’s engagement ring?
The reason why I ask is because my engagement ring has a center diamond with a line of 3 diamonds on either side. When we were looking at wedding bands, I tried on the 5 stone ring, but the stones did not line up with the start and finish of my engagement ring. I wound up getting a 7 stone ring so the stones lined up with each other on both rings. (And yes, I am completely spoiled.LOL. I would have been content with a plain band.)

the stones in the band should look to be the same shape as the engagement ring stones. so if she has a princess cut stone in her e-ring, get the channel set band because it’s harder to tell those stones are round in there. also I think it’s blingier than the 5 stone band.

If you think the 5-stone will overpower the engagement ring then go with the other one.
You really ought to take your fiance to the jewelry store and see how different rings look next to the engagement ring. THAT should be how you decide.

I perfer the 5 stone but I actually went and found a 6 stone band. The 5 stone always shifts and looks uneven- even amount of stones rest better on the hand.
I don’t think it over powers it but it’s for the girl who likes a lot of flash…. I love my rings.

depends on your opinion. the channel set is more popular these days and it sounds like thats what you like better anyway. just make sure the channel set is the right size, if the diamonds go all the way around you won’t be able to get it sized.

I would go with what she likes more, she’s the one who has to wear it. Both of those rings feature tiny diamonds as they are only 1/2 ct.tw. so I don’t see how either would be a problem.

I agree with you, the 5-stone will over power the princess cut stone.

I like the chanel set better then the 5 stone. And with a princess cut solitare it will compliment her ring nicely
