My and my husband got our bands from bluenile. They are a reputable online jeweler. the bands were beautiful. I got a 2.5 comfort fit platinum band for me (it cost $245 US) He got a 4 mm comfort fit platinum band ($ 750 US) We also had a coupon, so we saved about $ 75 together.
I know some people feel weird about buying online, but he had bought my engagement ring there (platinum setting) and a platinum bracelet for me some years ago. The products are beautiful, they have fast shipping and A1 customer service. The least you could do is check them out,
They also have a site for Canada and the UK.

Honest, ours came from Walmart. Really! They are just plain gold bands and we always said we would replace them with something more expensive later but it’s been almost 10 years. They work and I think we have about $110 dollars in mine and his. Houses, Cars, Kids – there is always something more important to spend our money on than a new gold band for our finger!

Local jeweller. We bought our rings at a place that’s been in business for generations, and we believe it was best for us. They’ve been great and very personal to work with. Because they’re a one shop business, each person has a real vested interest in what they sell. Buying your rings is a very personal thing, and I really liked the vibe of a small shop. They custom-made a ring for me, then remade it again no problem when I didn’t like it. I always advocate dealing with individuals over some huge company like Kay’s–if they lose you as a customer, they don’t really care.
Everyone carries platinum.

We haven’t bought mine yet, but my fiance’s is a Scott Kay and was $2,555.00, plus tax. It is a beautiful ring and has some diamonds on it. It is very heavy, too. My engagement ring is platinum.

It depends where you live most major cities have diamond districts where you can find bands at a much lower price then chain stores. We are having mine custom made to fit my engagment ring at a store on Canal St. in NYC
