When you see something you like order the cheapest thing they have. Once you receive it you can then judge the quality or have it examined by a professional jeweller. If all is well, order your ring from them.

My problem with Walmart is that the quality of the stones they use is questionable. Yes they have certified diamonds, but the diamonds are low quality is you know how they are rated. They also tend to sell gold plated jewelry as opposed to solid gold jewelry, and plating may wear off. DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM WALMART!
The cheapest rings I found that were at all decent quality were from Kay Jewelers. A white gold wedding band starts at $49.99 for women and $69.99 for men.
A great place to find bridal sets is Shane Co. That includes both the engangement ring and the wedding band for the bride. You would have to buy a separate ring for the groom, but that can be easily found. On Shane Co’s website men’s rings start at $70 and I just built a bridal set with just over a quarter carat diamond centerstone for $685.
Amazon.com has men’s wedding rings starting at $9.99. Women’s bands start at $8.79.
My husband and I got our wedding rings from a local jeweler for $525 for both rings. They gave us a discount (his ring was free) because he bought my engagement ring there. He got a plain yellow gold band. My ring is yellow gold with mill-grain down the center lined with tiny diamonds. It’s gorgeous and I haven’t found anything like it online.
