Perfectly acceptable. I know health care workers and a doctor who got wedding ring tattoos because they wash their hands so much that a ring gets in the way at work.

I don’t see anything wrong with it… if anything it shows how much deeper your commitment is… cant take off a tattoo lol… my boyfriend said he will get that whenever we get married… he can’t really wear rings… i think its pretty cute… a local weather girl (jillian reynolds) just recently got one when she got married… id say go for it

If your in to tats, go for it. There is always tattoo removal if you guys break it off.
Personally, I wouldn’t get one. I think it’s tacky and it would look terrible on me. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

instead of doing the whole ring you could get just the diamond tattooed on the top or just the wedding date as the band, or a combo of the two. Not names though… I’m slightly superstitious when it comes to that.

I’ve been married for 17 years and recently thought about doing that so at those times that I cannot or do not wear my ring, there will be something there. I think it’s cool but I’m sure that many will tell you not to mark your body…It’s all about personal choice.

I was tossing around that idea, but instead I think I want to get a small red heart (that can be covered and not seen when my rings are on) instead. You can do any symbol you want obviously. A ring tat seems kinda over, either way- congratulations!! I hope you have a beautiful life together !

wow! Second time today I’ve seen this.
I love the idea. I think you can get some really cool, BEAUTIFUL things done, as opposed to a plain gold band.
I would have it done but I am TERRIFIED of needles. Since you have tattoos already I don’t see this being a problem you’ll run across. lol
