Wedding Rings?

The wedding ring goes on first so it’s closer to your heart, then the engagement ring goes on. That’s the traditional way, but anything goes these days and if you want to wear them the other way about then it’s up to you!

I don’t know whaich way you are supposed to wear it, but my band is smaller than my engagement ring. But they fit together a certain way,and it only looks good with the engagement ring on top. I have seen it both ways, but I asked around too and I was told whichever way I wanted was the way to wear it. I figure it is your marriage and your ring do what you want.

Wedding band goes on first, then the engagement ring.
If you see people who have the engagement ring on the bottom and wedding ring on top, often these are widowed or divorced women. However, the trend now is to just not wear your rings at all if you are divorced! These are modern times
If you see someone who looks like they have a wedding ring on top AND bottom, it is likely that their wedding ring is on top, engagement in the middle, and anniversary band or eternity ring on top.

It’s personal choice. My mom wears her engagement ring on the inside (closer to her palm) and her wedding band on top of it. Most people say that tradition dictates wearing the wedding band on the inside and engagement ring on the outside since the wedding band has more meaning and is closer to the heart. Some people will wear their wedding band on their left hand and engagement ring on the right. Try out different combinations and wear whatever feels most comfortable and looks the best!

the band goes on after the engagement ring. it symobliezes that you are married and have accepted commitment. the engegment ring comes first so it goes first.
