Word. The ring is irrelevant, its supposed to represent eternal love, its price is the least important thing of marriage.
But ****** dont see it that way.

i was talking to some of my female friends and here is what they say there was 5 of female that said that some how the ring conversation came up i said that it doesn’t matter how much u spend on the ring its love what matters and this is what they said. The guy has to spend at least 2000$ on the ring but they recommend 4000 so i said why if u love him it doesn’t matter if it was 100$ and they said no gotta be over 2000$ so what this tells me is there are about interest not love

exactly….they feel the bigger the ring, or whatever the better. You cant put a price on love..this is why most women in the US fail

If it DOES matter that the ring isn’t a diamond or expensive, I say: call off the wedding! Marriage should be for love. And if it’s for money, it’s not a real marriage. Diamonds don’t have feelings.

“Why does it matter?” In one sense, it doesn’t. The diamond (or lack thereof) isn’t really a big deal. But many people see it as symbolic, diamonds being very strong gemstones, or as an investment in the future.

It seems like your main motivation for this is to pull a preemptive prank on your future divorcee, and if you’re ALREADY PLANNING for a divorce, you definitely shouldn’t be proposing.

I can tell you the value of my ring sure as hell isn’t worth 21,000. That is ridiculous! I love my ring, and I can’t believe people would spend so much on a piece of jewelry.

just like a woman, she probably went to sell it or pawn it, and now she is pissed that she cant get a **** load of cash for the fucker.

It does because if the value goes down he can get his property taxes reduced.

diamonds are not rare!!! diamonds are typically shipped from other countries but they are not rare! The fact they cost so much in the US is ridiculous. If it’s about love, the ring will not matter. If she is obsessed about the ring DUMP HER!!! It’s ultimately a symbol of beauty and nothing else. So why would something that looks the same (and cost less) be any different???
    Damn woman…

..but in reality diamonds aren’t worth **** because they are so numerous. they’re real worth is equivalent to that of dirt. but even rich fertile dirt has more value because it can actually grow food.
