    With the global economy being the way it is, precious metals such as gold and platinum are at an all time high. Finding two platinum bands for that much is going to be almost impossible. The only thing I might suggest is a pawn shop or ebay. Just be extremely careful…only buy from ebayers that have a high rating and a large number of satisfied customers.
    Another option is to just go with white gold or to buy white gold right now and wait until the economies get better and costs go down. Then buy the rings that you really want in platinum. Just a thought.

    And make sure you don’t get fooled by someone trying to pawn off some lower purity Platinum to you. Good Platinum is minimum 95% purity. It should be stamped with “950 Pt” on the rings. Beware!
