To set the record straight – palladium is not a man created material. Palladium is a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal that was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston, it is a member of the platinum family. It is number 46 on the periodic table of elements and has a density of 12.023
    14K Yellow gold:
    (58.5% Gold) (4% Silver) (31.2% Copper) (6.3% Zinc)
    14K White gold:
    (58.5% Gold) (0.5% Silver) (27% Copper) (7% Zinc) (7% Nickel)
I’m a gold miner and knowing that all natural gold is yellow that is what my preference is. If your question is of durability and rarity of the metal then I would go with palladium.

Really I think it depends on two things, 1- personal preference and 2- his job. If he works on a fire engine he needs something much stronger and more scratch resistant than if he is a computer programmer. And if he’s really sweet he’ll do his best to make sure his new ring matches yours!

White gold.. I suppose. Most men I know prefer classic yellow gold.

I didnt even look at te pictures but I think you should go with paladium. I just recently purchased my rings. The guy told me paladium is a fairly new metal…therefore, it’s less expensive right now…but just wait. The price of paladium will be increasing a lot in te future. They say paladium is the next platinum. Go for it!
