Could it be dry skin? Try taking your ring off and applying lotion several times a day, lettting it soak in a few minutes before putting your ring back on. Or take your ring off at night and apply Bag Balm to the affected area for a few nights. If that doesn’t help, it could be something else.
Also, remove your ring at least once a day when you wash your hands, and clean the ring on a regular basis. If you never take the ring off, the skin underneath stays moist after you wash your hands, making it easier for anything built up under the ring to get into your skin.
If it’s an allergic reaction, you could just apply a thin coat of clear nail polish inside the ring, so it doesn’t contact your skin.
    Good luck!

This seems to be a somewhat frequent occurrence. First off, you likely aren’t reacting to the ring itself (platinum rings are usually between 90-95% pure platinum, which is a hypoallergenic metal, and alloyed with other hypoallergenic metals). Therefore, your reaction is likely the result of some kind of build up (likely soap) under the ring, as others have pointed out. Try taking off your ring when you wash your hands and bathe and make sure you keep the inside of the ring clean. If the rash won’t go away, you should see a dermatologist.

Have you been using a different soap or deterrgent ? Check out with your Doc. for dermatitis and related conditions.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the washing up water (and hence the soap) was getting caught under the ring and drying there, eventually causing itching. I rinse under clean water every time i use any soap now and it’s fine.

do you use antibacterial dish soap, body soap? if so, stop. the rash should clear up. do not wear your rings during the clear up.
if the rash comes back, have your liver checked. i had a rash that would not go away and it remained relatively in the same areas as my rings. however, it was on my right hand, not both. come to find out it was liver disease (hence the rash on my right side)
its weird, but it happens! see your doc and ask him…it could just be you also came in contact with a substance that was not rinsed off well enough and adhered to the underneath of your band.
and last, but not least….allergies change every 7 years.
