my husband (of one year) and i bought rings that we liked but which did’nt match. now they express our own unique natures but still tell us we’re married and will always be one. go with your personal tastes,no one answering will have to wear them . just you two good luck

YES!!!!! it’s always cool to be different. And besides how’s wearing the ring. Is it not enough that your already going to be together forever. So why have the same thing? That’s not what matters. Only care that you wear the ring, that’s what the true meaning of the ring is about.

I don’t think it is wrong to have mis-matching wedding bands, my husband and I do, so does my best friend and his wife.
Unless it is some religous thing (not to be rude if it is). But it would be cool…it lets people know that you and your husband have different tastes, but are willing to work them out because you love each other.
That right there should tell you and your husband that it doesn’t matter!
Oh, I went through the same thing, my best friend told me not to worry about it.
It still feels awkward. (I will get used to it though, only been married a few months).

I have a fabulous 3 diamond platinum ring with a 5 diamond wedding band. My husband chose a nice silver ring with a simple diamond for his “work” ring, and a nice 2 tone gold and platinum ring for his “out on the town” ring. Get what you want. Get what he wants. Who cares if it matches? Wear matching t-shirts, thats always cute.

That is perfectly fine. I have a gorgeous platinum band set with diamonds….my husband didn’t even want one! I finally convinced him to get something..so he got a $95 titanium band, he still doesn’t wear it most of the time! LOL
