The only reason you shouldn’t wear the set plus your own engagement ring is because it could be uncomfortable! If you aren’t bothered by having 3 or 4 rings on one finger (my grandma’s set was her engagement ring, wedding band, and a wedding ring; I don’t know what yours is), go for it! I know a few people who wear their grandma’s wedding set on their own “wedding ring finger” while wearing their own engagement ring on their right hand ring finger. It should be about your preference!

no, not at all..heritage and traditionality is very important and very much lacking in some these days..Go for it and remeber to pass that on to your children.
If your hubby has a problem with it then talk about it and explain what it means to you, if he loves you he will respect you & care about the things you do as well.

I would keep them on separate hands. Wear your engagement ring on your left hand, and the other set on your right hand. If you are not getting a separate wedding band from your husband, then you can wear that set with your engagement ring, or on the finger next to it.

Wear whatever you desire…there’s no rule about that other than your wedding ring(s) should be on 3rd finger of left hand…if you want more rings on that finger, wear ‘em. ?

If they fit and you like them why not? Congratulations. If at a later date you decide to change and just use your engagement ring you could keep your Grandmothers and pass it down to your daughter or son. Or you could have it made into a nice piece of jewelry, I have a friend who took her Mothers engagement ring and had it made into a heart with the diamond in the middle, it was beautiful. Good Luck

wear whatever you like, I have never seen any rules about the wearing of jewellery so that makes it personal choice. My mother wears her engagement ring, her eternity ring and her wedding band all on the same finger, many women do that, I don’t think there is anything inappropriate about decisions that are entirely personal.

not at all, I have 3 rings on my wedding finger. and another one of my co-workers does as well.

If they all fit and look halfway decent together, I think that would be great. Try it out and see how it works. If you like it, stick with it. If you don’t like the look, decide which ring to wear on your right hand or save for special ocassions.
Whatever your decision, I can’t see any reason why it would be inappropriate to do.

Of course not! Don’t let ANYONE try to take the joy out of this wonderful gift! Wear it as you like left hand, right hand, whatever makes you happy.
