Its not bad luck my husband to be and I are using my parents rings and they are divorced, we had them melted down and made into our own rings that way we have the history but still get what we want. We are also getting them blessed just in case lol but do what you want its your day noone elses

Heck no. Luck has nothing to do with anything but, statastics show that children of divorced parents have a 95% chance they will be divorced themselves. You have to believe that you are the exception to the rule and only get married if you plan to honor your vows. How do you and your boyfriend handle conflict? If you really believe you can work out any conflict that may arise for the rest of your lives, get married and use any rings you want. The rings are only a SYMBOL of your love and devotion. P.S. I think it is kinda cool to use rings that are from a parents wedding. Wish my marriage lasted longer than 18 years.

No such thing…. besides… parents may be happier now they are divorced….. Being Happy is the key ….. if they are happier apart…
    then nothing wrong with that…
It’s far worse, if they hate each other, and are still together for your sake….that would really suck for them and for you…

There is no such thing as bad luck. Use the rings. Hey look at it this way what if you bought them at a pawn shop. Same thing right? Some jewelry is pawned because they need cash and sometimes for a divorce who’s to know?
