    Yep, I agree….it’s thinner in the back for comfort reasons. With most well-made rings…they often times have a thinner back to them for this reason. But, with any ring you get….I would get some sort of insurance on it…right at the jewelry store…so if it breaks somehow or gets lost you’ll be able to replace it….

    And as for it being thinner at the back …. so what, it was probably designed that way.

    The thinner backside makes it easier to flex your finger. It’s a minor issue, and you should let your aesthetics rule.
