invest in yourself – enroll in the Gemological Institute of America’s Distance Learning Program. They are the industry experts. They have an excellent basic program, the AJP, which runs about $500, and it covers everything. Penny’s might even cover the cost, or reimburse you – I would ask your HR rep.
