I know for a fact magnets have a profound effect on your body—personally and scientifically. It is recommended that if you have a pace maker not to use magnetic technology—so I would ask your doctor. Be sure that if you decide to go with magnetic tech, you use a reputable company that is backed up with medical research. Some companies out there are just throwing magnets together and telling you to put them on. You can hurt yourself if you do not get the correct gauss strength. Good luck!

Magnets have no effect on your body and magnetic jewelry will have no effect on your filter, either.

Forget it, this is all just hype to get folks to waste their money anyway. If you have any concerns it just wouldn’t be worth it since even if you were assured it was OK you’d still worry. A far greater concern is the coumadin (warfarin) you are taking.

Normally it is OK because recent Vena Cava Filters are amagnetic filters who could undergo MR imaging.
