   I know alot of people wear their wedding ring on the inside and their engagement ring on the outside. I think it makes more sense to wear them the other way around because that was the order in which they were put on.

   When I got married the pastor told me to remove my engagement ring for the ceremony because the wedding ring goes on first. And I have always worn my set with the engagement ring on the outside.

   I think you should wear it closest to the heart, like the nose, or nipple.

   Traditionally, the wedding band is placed on the ring finger first, then the engagement. However… they are your rings and you may wear them any way you choose to wear them.

   The way my engagement ring is, it has 2 rows of diamonds forming the one solid band, so i don’t even have a wedding band. I love my ring and even if I had a band, I would still love my engagement ring more.

   I plan to wear my wedding band first with my engagement ring on the outside. This way if I take the engagement ring off to do something that might damage it, I can do it without ever removing the band that symbolizes our unity.

   band should come first but wear it however you want. but some people have a double band where the engagement ring is in the middle. There are so many styles, im sure any way you wear it is acceptable.

   i’d have to say engagement ring goes on the right hand, then comes off when you get married. wedding ring goes on the left hand, closest to the heart.

    I think traditionally the wedding band goes closest and your wear your engagement ring outside.
    The “vein that goes straight to your heart” is just a legend, though. (ALL veins in your body go to the heart!)

    Mine look better and fit together better with the engagement ring on the inside. I don’t wear a wedding “band” as such, mine has a much larger stone than the engagement ring. The engagement ring is also a little looser and much more expensive, so I prefer to wear it on the inside for safety reasons also.

    Definitely wedding band first and then the engagement ring.
    Wedding band is the most important one, even if it is not the prettiest.
    I dont plan on ever removing my wedding band once it is on, but my engagement ring, I will slip off if I am gardening, changing a baby and not wanting to scratch it, mixing a cookie dough or anything else messy.
    So I think band first is definitley the way to go.

    The band is always closest to the heart since it represents the actual union. The engagement ring represents the promise to marry.
