I think there is a fair chance that all your pieces are real. Even though there may be fakes on the market, most of the hallmarked stuff is what they say it is. As you said, with so many sales, someone would have picked up earlier if these sellers were frauds.
The spring ring clasp has a spring inside, I am pretty sure, it would be steel or something like that. Gold wouldn’t be strong enough. That would be the part that is magnetic.
To properly test for gold, you need the right test liquid and use the right method. I wouldn’t bother, unless you had a reason to be suspicious.
