The current spot pricing on Gold is $735.70 oz.
If your necklace is 14g then its scrap gold value is approx. $193.18.
Figure this out by dividing spot gold price by 31.1
Now multiple that number by Karat weight of gold:
* 10KT = 10/24 = .4167
* 14KT = 14/24 = .5833
* 18KT = 18/24 = .750
Then take that number and multiple by the weight in grams of your gold. This gives you the value of your gold in scrap.

Check out the local jewelry stores to see what they may be selling a comparable chain for. You may want to make your price slightly less to ensure a swift sale.

gold is at a high right now so dont sell it cheap check ebay for similar models and charge a tad more
