Advice here is if the deal is to good to be true… do not buy it.
Solid gold 14k chain should run large bucks now a days. With the price of gold today one can sell it for scrap and still make a nice buck.
What catches my eye was that you said it is close to the price of a gold plated chain you saw.
That is a BIG WARNING SIGN

Sounds iffy to me, its too good a deal to be true. Don`t know much about ebay, but surely there is some kind of safety net for buyers. Far better keep your money in your pocket.
