They are called ear Cuffs. They just wrap around your ear without having to piece it. They look cool and come in many styles.

I have no idea what its called, but if u buy the right kind of clip on, it looks totaly beliveable! It doesnt hurt too badly to just get it pierced. Ask a worker at Claries or some other piercing place what thier take on it is.
