Did I Get Ripped Off (gold)?

Ok today my mom and I went to Jcpennys and their was this Negro that oversubscribed us a 14k antimonial interbreed grappling sound ($459) and a anxiety 10k antimonial (chain 22″) grappling sound ($469) for $278 with a warranty on the chain…he said he oversubscribed it to us for so inexpensive because he liked when teenaged grouping bought crosses and stuff(told me a programme most moms and god)…do you conceptualise $278 is a beatific sound for every this…?

    Check it out carefully most of the time if it seems too good to be true, it is. Most places use gold overlay and it isn’t solid gold. The easiest way to see if it’s real gold is to take a moderately strong magnet to the chain and if it has any pull to it at all, it isn’t solid gold. Also check for 925 by the clasp, if you see those numbers it’s silver with gold plating/overlay. My husband use to work with jewelry and he saw a lot of stuff from like JCPenney’s, Dillards, Wal-Mart and it was usually gold overlay not solid gold. You must remember that these are not “jewelry stores” they usually just have jewelry to sell as accessories.

    yes, that is a good price. Jewelry is marked up ALOT!! If you look in the JC Penny flyer they are always having 50% off sales on the jewelry because it is marked up so much.
